I just love photographing love and life and beauty.

I speak 6 languages: English, Spanish, Italian, German and French, and my mothertongue is Hungarian.

Zsuzsa Bakonyi's Love Story with photography

I started with photography right after I have finished my Business Administration degree. In the end, I always wanted to do arts.

Aside from my commercial photographic work, I have had a lot of exhibitions in prestigious institutions in several countries. Funnily enough, I quite enjoy the topic of love and relationship also in my personal research topic.

I love taking photos of love and life. Of couples in love, families, children or just one person enjoying the beach, and their glorious body. I love being part of wedding and creating memories for a lifetime. I love the joy of co-creation of photos. My photos would be nothing without the subjects, without their emotions and without the beautiful backdrops. Photography is a celebration of life, that is why it is my big passion.

As soon as I learnt about elopements and weddings, I fell in love and knew that this was the best direction for me. I am a very good organizer and time-manager and with all the languages I am speaking, it just felt like a perfect match.

I also enjoy working with dancers, local businesses and NGOs.

When I do not take photos, I like to move my body, dance, do arts and enjoy life. A big fan of yoga and pranayama and all kinds of sports and movements. I am also a firedancer. Movement and dancing complements my photography activity just perfectly.

I am dedicated to living in harmony with myself, my surroundings and the whole Planet, I am continuously thriving to make my life more sustainable in every way possible :)

My style combines the classical composition principles of portrait photography with a photojournalistic style. I also like to add fun, playfulness and all kinds of visual delights to my photos.

Professionalism does not stop at perfect compositions and inventing poses for couples - it is the starting point, and these are indeed important qualities of a good photographer.
For me it means to let people be honest and truthful before my lenses, search for the beautiful lights around and to capture the atmosphere and spirit of the moment inside the pictures. I would like to give you images which will make you feel and almoast smell the day it was taken. Every time you re-watch them.

I enjoy inventing creative concepts and poses, of course, when it comes to creative couple photography or taking pictures of groups, families. Also here, I thrive for the joyful and easy-relaxed mood providing always the best pictures.

Editing and after effects are a very important part of my work-flow since they allow me to give a unique personal touch to the pictures. I retouch and give special effects to each photo, but sometimes so slightly that it is almoast not noticeable - again, to keep it natural and honest.
