F.A.Q. ELOPEMENT IN BUDAPEST
Some frequently asked questions about me, my elopement packages and photography and how payments, reservation and alike work.
Are you a Budapest wedding planner or photographer?
I am first and foremost a photographer but I offer elopement planning in Budapest as well. I love to organize events and I love to make dreams and special requests true.

What languages do you speak?
My mother tongue is Hungarian and I fluently speak English, Spanish and Italian, and almoast fluently in German and a solid intermediate in French :)
Is Budapest safe and good place to elope?
Absolutely! Budapest, capital of Hungary. It is one of the safest cities in Europe, cozy, easygoing, breathtakingly beautiful with lof of affordable accommodation, cultural and culinary options. We have an airport and several railway stations to arrive to the city. You can easily connect your Budapest elopement with a honeymoon in Europe. Our currency is Hungarian Forints (HUF), but euros are accepted as well in most places and you can almoast everywhere pay by card. Good to have a bit of cash on you though.
How much does a Budapest elopement cost?
That depends on many things, but my Budapest elopement packages range between 1200 and 2900 EUR
in case of 2 guests.
I charge a 50-100 EUR extra cost for guests to cover photography and planning and than additional costs depend on what you want included for them.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, I require a deposit to reserve you elopement. This ensures that your date will be reserved and we can go on to make further arrangements. In case of elopements, this is usually abut 30% of the total price.
How is the rest of payment handled? Do you have payment plans?
In case of Budapest elopements, I ask for deposit + 2-3 installments. I will inform you about this always upfront and I am always open to figure out a solution that works for both of us.
You can pay me via credit card, wise transfer, bank transfer and cash.
Can you help us with other vendors, travel and accommodation in Budapest?
Since I offer planning services, I am absolutely delighted to help you with these. I can just give you vendor contacts or I can help you in the whole process of scouting them and handling payments and everything. Just explain me what you need.
Where will the ceremony take place?
I have a few nice public spots up my sleeve where we can hold an intimate elopement ceremony in Budapest. Please note that if you are willing to get up at for a sunrise ceremony, then we have much more options to make your ceremony in a stunning location :) Otherwsie, Budaspest is quite busy and my ceremony locations are chosen so that you can have nice view/historical buildings around, but also enjoy some privacy. We can discuss the options.
Could we get a private venue for our ceremony?
Absolutely, you can definitely rent a private place for your intimate Budapest elopement ceremony. Options can be a private balcony with nice views, rooftops and terraces of hotels and restaurants. Just share your vision and budget and we can make it happen.
How about rainy day and cancelling?
As I shoot mostly outdoors, I know that I cannot control the weather. I am always open to be flexible around the date in case everyone is available (there could be other vendors involved).
As for cancelation policy, deposit is non refundable and the rest of the installments are subject to discussion and up to my discretion under what circumstance and in what amount they can be refunded or not.
Obviously if I cancel for any vis major reason (which I never did in 15 years), I will refund you and give you alternative photographer.
How is the weather in Budapest througout the year?
Hungary has proper continental 4 seasons, so weather changes all throughout the year, with most days being sunny. Summers months in Budapest (June-August) are hot (30-35 °C/80-100°F during day, 15-20°C/60-70°F during night) and dry, Spring and Autumn is mild and more unpredictable, Budapest Winter (December, January, February) being cold (10-minus 5 °C/23-50°F with occasional snow.
Do you elopements only in Budapest?
I work mostly in Budapest, and also all over Hungary.
